Recommend a hotel in Jersey
We always used to stay at the Christina when I went with my mom but would like to try somewhere different I'm planning a 4 day holiday with a friend in September
Which hotels do you recommend? I do like somewhere with a balcony room if possible but not in the...er... 'city centre' |

How about one of the hotels in St Brelade's - lovely view over the bay from balconies there.

Yes I’d suggest St Brelades Bay too. Particularly St Brelades Bay Hotel itself.
We stayed there every year for 25 years. Not been for a few years now but would still recommend it. We did like it, as you can tell! Kat

The Greenhills Country House hotel is a lovely hotel in the countryside. It's in a beautiful old granite building and also has the bonus of a small swimming pool.

If you like the Christina, take a look at the Somerville in St Aubin, it’s part if the same group (Dolan Group). Easy access to town by bus should you want it.
As an alternative to the St Brelade Bay hotel, there is the Golden Sands which is under new ownership (Dolan Group) Do you have a preferred area you’d like to be in? We have many good hotels over here, too many to list really. |

No, the island is small enough that if we aren't keen on the area we can spend the day elsewhere. As long as the hotel is lovely!
How is the weather generally end of September? Prices drop considerably the last week in September Edited at 08:25 AM. |

In that case, you can’t go wrong with the St Brelade Bay hotel or the Golden Sands.
As for the weather, take a guess, it’s been pretty rubbish the last couple of weeks. Generally speaking, the end of September should still be mid/low 20s and mostly dry. If you’ve got any other questions, feel free to drop me a message. |

We’ve just returned from another lovely visit to Jersey, even had some sunny days although there was a fresh breeze at times.
Have stayed at St Brelades Bay Hotel and L’Horizon, both lovely hotels offering balconies and of course beautiful bay views. This time we tried The Atlantic overlooking St Ouen, best stay we’ve ever experienced in Jersey and we will be booking to return next year. The rooms have Juliet style balconies unfortunately but the view of the bay and the sunsets are stunning, we stayed in a garden studio which had its own patio and direct access to the beautiful gardens. |

We stayed at Hotel La Place. It had a bus stop right outside the hotel and we used the buses a lot, they have a great app where you can see where it is by the number and track it to plan journeys.
We went in early October a couple of years ago and had wonderful weather. I'll add a couple of pics for you. |
