Later flight as it will be so much more comfortable. I donít like the 3-3-3 configuration either! 2-4-2 was so much better! Itís now just the 2 of us, instead of 4, and I still much prefer the old style configuration.

Premium all day and (IMO) it isnít even a decision you need to think about. The comfort in PE is leagues ahead of Economy and makes up for the few hours difference.

Iíd stay with the later flight and PE.

I can argue for or against the early / late flight both have plus/minus.

So it would the PE flight for me.

I've never flown anything other than economy so I would go for the earlier flight every time. Its much more important to me to have more time out there than a bit of extra comfort for a few hours.

Now if somebody wanted to offer me 1st Class for free I would fly at any time

Thanks for all the replies!

Bit of a curveball... 4 PE flights on the 9:20am flight just came up for the day before so I have grabbed them!

On the older plane but at least if we do get any delays we won't be getting there at a stupidly late time!

I voted for the earlier flight. I always like to be on my way on travel day and I think arriving earlier gives you a bit of time to orient yourself, whereas arriving late it just a throw yourself in to bed situation. The class of travel doesnít bother me either.

Another curveball & still on the 9:20am flight... UC seats appeared so we upgraded from PE and saved 22,000 miles as it was over their sale weekend ☺️

We're currently booked on the 3:15pm flight from London to MCO in Premium Economy with our two girls aged 3 & 6.

However, the much earlier 9:20am flight has become available on the same day but in Economy. I like the idea of the earlier flight but I don't like the idea of flying Economy as it's an A350 so 3x3x3, plus the earlier flight lands at 2:15pm which means we have to keep the kids going for longer. But, if there are any delays it means we wouldn't be getting there stupidly late at least. The girls could probably just spend the afternoon in the pool as we'll be there so early.

If we stick with the later flight it doesn't land until 7:30pm local time which is 12:30am to us, and thats providing there are no delays. However, a late arrival time means we can crash out at the resort straight away without having to try and stay up to a reasonable bed time. It also means that we've paid for a night that we've essentially wasted due to getting there so late on travel day and going straight to bed.

Just wondered if people had experience of these times and which you would choose given the choice? We have Global Entry so immigration doesnít make a difference to us as weíre always through super fast regardless less of how busy it is.

I donít like the idea of flying Economy but the idea of a delay on the later flight worries me (it didnít leave London until 5:30pm the other day)

Thanks!
Whatís wrong with economy? Jeez.

As I already stated... It's an A350 so 3x3x3. Not a good config when you're a family of 4 with young kids.
