Excited about Disney
|
2022 was first time we did a “proper” Universal trip (previously only went for a day in a 14 day Disney stay). As kids were older we did 5 nights at Portofino then 14 nights at Disney. This year we’re doing 6 at RPR and 14 at Disney. I loved staying onsite and 5 nights was great although I find it a lot more hectic than Disney so I like doing it first and then having a slightly more relaxed time at Disney!

We have done 1 night a couple of times, we have done two separate 1 nights in the same holiday. Each time we were in a villa and just needed an overnight bag.
Last couple of trips we have done 6 nights and 9 nights. Next trip it’s going to be mainly universal so 11 or 12 nights. Each one worked for us at the time.

We have stayed at both and prefer to RPR - feels more relaxed and less noisy but you might prefer the latter!
Both are well located for both parks. |

Ive got a mad trip booked this year with several hotel ressies and 2 different Universal stays.
Dockside for three nights, back to Disney then back to Cabana Bay for 9 nights - mainly because of HHN multiple visits I usually do 20 days @ Disney and a week to 10 days at Universal

We usually do 3 nights at Royal Pacific that gives you plenty of time and don’t need to rush. Love Portofino too. Hard rock too noisy for us oldies 😂

We always do two weeks at Cabana bay, we don’t bother with fast passes and love this hotel so it suits up. Going for 16 nights next year ☺️
