I booked via the JET2 app under myjet2 then myjet2offers . There was no mention of USD and all info was in GBP and paid in full GBP.

Just signed up as above and the link/code was in my jet2 account. Got my 2 weeks minivan hire with Alamo down to £477. Pick up Miami, drop off MCO 31st May.

Budget seem to have dropped their prices this afternoon. I can get 2 weeks end of July, INT SUV for £571, with the 25% discount its £428

Also seems cheaper on AE

Not sure how I feed about booking with Budget though

They seem to be a lot cheaper than the other providers on most sites. I doubt I will beat this current price but will keep checking!

Thanks for sharing. Does anyone know if you can link a jet2 booking with Avis preferred? I’m wondering if it’s worth paying £11 more to book with Avis over Budget using this link?

Sorry if this has been answered already - is Jet2 payment at booking and in GBP?

The site itself suggests payment is in $$ but doesn't make clear if payment is taken now or at collection...

I have just tried both methods, and the prices came up identical. Did you put the code in the 2nd quote?
If you give me the info (dates and airport) I can look again as I used random info to check.
