Anyone watching? Started last week. Powerful stuff & brilliant acting again by Stephen Graham. Can’t wait to see it tomorrow night.

Yes watched last week. That was perhaps the best drunk scene I have ever seen.
No wonder Scorsese says he is one of the best actors in the world, I have been a fan since Boardwalk Empire.

Did you see Sinbad from Brookside in it as Sam working at the ferry terminal? He was brilliant, we want to see more Sinbad.

I watched it, enjoyed it but I found myself heaving with him!
  Found it compelling and hard hitting at the same time, looking forward to the rest but think I'll save it for daytime/weekend viewing  I'm another Stephen Graham fan, from This is England to Boardwalk Empire to Little Boy Blue to Line Of Duty to this

watched ep1 last night - I knew it wasn't going to be a barrel of laughs, but I'm a little worried how dark it might get! Anything with both shane meadows and Stephen Graham could break new depths in low.
I'm fully expecting requiem for a dream levels of lowness from this. Excited to see where it goes! if you've not seen any of shane meadows other stuff, go rectify that! and on a similar note, check out ben wheatley's stuff too. |
