Sad the yeti is being a bit tempermental!

Hope it is up and running and they manage to do smaller refurbs rather than one HUGE one! It wouldn't be fait to have it non-operational for 6 months!

Good news about a Monsters Inc coaster... we always comment when we see the film, that a coaster would be excellent based on this film, centered around the huge carosel of doors that zoom around. It would be great with an inverted coaster feel too! Exciting!

This has given us a dilemma now, we wern,t going to bother going to Holywood studios next year we were only going MK at Disney, but if they have a new rollercoaster, we are going to want to go, but i dont think i can afford another park, esspecially if the Doller rate doesent improove.

The other rumour doing the rounds is for the same location at DHS, but not Monsters Inc but Crushes Coaster. The same ride that has wowed the crowds at Disneyland Paris.

Whatever turns up, it's all good.

Cheers
Pete

Howdo,

Latest on the Yeti via Twitter...

The screen came down almost as soon as it went up, so its currently back to the static "strobing" Yeti effect.

According to the last report, the final Yeti room scene is back to running it’s typical dark room with strobe light effects version of the scene until they come back with the screen and begin working on it in the near future.

the plan is to try and restore some movement to the arm and head as a sort of half-way fix to restore it to closed to the full blown “A” show mode that hasn’t been seen in months. Apparently the only way the Yeti will ever get restored to full operational status is whenever the time comes to close down the ride complete for an extensive rehab that could take up to 6 months. Obviously WDW management has been in no hurry to do such a thing as the impact on the park would be huge.
