First visit final plan

Morning Dibbers,

So excited to tell the kids (DS 9 + DD 7) on Christmas that we are going to Disney! Although we are telling them it will be at Easter but will surprise them on Friday 24th Jan that we travel on Sunday 26th from Glasgow with BA. Staying at OKW 12 nights then week at a villa. Anyway our plan is as follows:
Mon 27th- rope drop AK - KS, Everest, Kali. FP+ - Tough to be a bug, Lion King, Na'avi. ADR Rainforest cafe 1:15 then hotel.
Tue 28th- rope drop MK - Jungle cruise, Magic carpets, Frontier land, Liberty Square riverboat. FP+ - Pirates, BTM, Haunted Mansion. Afternoon parade then hotel. ADR Olivias 6:30
Wed 29th- rope drop HS - Slinky, Alien saucers. FP+ - Toy story mania, Little mermaid, beauty and beast. ADR Sci-fi 12:30. Hotel afternoon then MK evening for fireworks.
Thur 30th - Blizzard Beach
Fri 31st - rope drop MK - Space Mountain, tommorowland speedway, astro orbiter, small world, dumbo, mickey philarmagic. FP+ - Peter pan, barnstormer, Buzz lightyear. ADR Jungle Nav Co 12:40 then hotel. HS in evening for galactic spectacular.
Day 6 Sat 1st - Epcot from lunch. Pixar film. FP+ - Spaceship earth, living with land, turtle talk. Then world showcase Canada to Italy. ADR Via Napoli 6:20 then Epcot forever.
Day 7 Sun 2nd - AK from lunch. Primeval whirl, Tricera top spin, Asia trails. FP+ - FOP, Dinosaur, Finding nemo. ADR Yak and Yeti 6:15.
Day 8 Mon 3rd - lazy day/disney springs. AK in early evening FP+ - FOP, Everest, Rivers of light.
Day 9 Tue 4th - rope drop MK previous favourites. FP+ - Mad Tea, Little mermaid, 7DMT. Hotel in afternoon. ADR CRT 7pm.
Day 10 Wed 5th - rope drop Epcot - Soarin, journey into imagination. World showcase Mexico to Germany. FP+ - Mission space, Nemo, Frozen. Hotel in afternoon. HS in evening for Fantasmic.
Day 11 Thur 6th - rope drop HS - ROtR, Smugglers run, Indiana Jones, Muppet vision. FP+ - Star tours, Slinky, Frozen singalong. ADR Flying Fish 7pm.
Day 12 Fri 7th - Checkout day plans TBC.

Fri 7th - Fri 14th - Villa at Windsor Hills. Intend to relax with exception of staying at Universal Aventura Tue 11th to cover Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Wed 12th with early admission and park to park. Arrive Glasgow Sat 15th Feb.

I've not asked any questions on here but this forum has been an absolute necessity in helping me plan, so thank you to all contributors. This was to be a once in a lifetime but I'm sure there is many a dibber who has said that!

Looks like a pretty good plan to me. Only thing you might find is that is gets alot harder to muster enthusiasm to get up and out for rope drop after about day 5.

Temperatures are alot cooler either end of the day. When we went in early Feb, the best time for swimming was between 11 and 3pm, so your plan to return to the hotel after lunch should work perfectly.

There's usually a cheerleading convention on around then too, so you might come across large groups of them, but they're easy enough to avoid.

Can imagine that dragging the kids out for rope drop can be difficult. I'm hoping that we don't feel pressure to do to much and be flexible in our approach, and as many have advised, stop to smell the roses.
