A TV should last more than 3 years, I’d take it up with Currys under your Statutory Rights.

I buy Hisense TVs at work. They aren’t a well known brand but they are nice TVs. I wouldn’t feel compelled to buy a name brand.

To be fair the TV in our playroom (Samsung) has lasted years and us used more often. We have movie night too in there ever weekend.
The TV (LG) 65” in our open plan living room is only really watch in the evenings on weekdays. So the least used TV. It’s like someone is flicking the on & off button constantly very fast. The green and red / on & off light is flicking fast. Sometimes there is sound sometimes not. But nothing on the screen then it turns off completely. We have changed batteries in the control. Switched it off over night at the wall over night and tried to reboot it but no joy. |
