Has anyone used the DAS at Shanghai Disney?

As title. We have just booked a trip and having previously used the DAS in Orlando, I was pleased to see they have a similar offering at Shanghai.

The only concern of mine is trying to explain why we need one with a language barrier. Has anyone got one in the past and do the CM understand English OK?

Unfortunately English isnt widely used in Shanghai Disney and you may have to wait for a cast member that does speak good English. Its not like Disney Paris where English is widely used and understood.
You will find issues with the language barrier even for simple things like checking in and ordering food, so DAS will be a little hard.
How about writing it all down and using a translator before you go. Yes online translators arent perfect, but may just help when you are there.
Get an app for your phone so you can use it while there. There are some good speaking ones now.

Oh to add, be aware of the toilets in the parks. Half are western sit down, the other half are squat holes.
