I have just watched the first episode and I am not so sure. Will watch the next episode and see if it grows on me. I have such fond memories of one of my very favourite tv programmes. The new show lacked the fun of the original, poor Worzel has lost his true love Aunt Sally and he didn’t even have a cup of tea or slice of cake !

I think that was why we didn't like it, we have such happy memories of the original version.

Decided not to watch it. I have too many good memories of this growing up and don't want that ruined. I guess its good for a new generation though

It’s a very gentle humour, McKenzie Crook is excellent (actor, writer and director)...have watched the first one and looking forward to watching the second tomorrow...
We enjoyed the old version but can’t compare it to this one as they are two different versions...
