Personally, I find the leg rests if the BA seats in Premium very uncomfortable. We have avoided this cabin for several years now because of this so it may be improved and I don't know.

You can fold out a flap for your feet, but my legs are too long (I'm only 5' 7" tall) so my knees are too high. If you don't fold the flap you can feel the legrest behind you calves and I don't like that either.

First World probs, I know, but apart from that the window seats are in pairs and are wider and more padded than normal economy, and the food is better. The cabin is small, so quieter, so quite a lot to like.

If you see a good price, go for it. Sometimes, if there is space they put up a little sign at check-in for people to upgrade on the day, but that would be hit or miss, and you couldn't depend on it. I've seen this for about $180, but its several years ago. If you book normal economy and manage your booking in the BA app, sometimes a special price pops up. Again this is just if they still have lots of space near departure.
