some of the car pool lanes my have an exit so that you don't have to cross across the traffic. I do find Google maps gives you plenty of warning when it expects you to come off.

We found it fine - no problem at all.
One of our trips - from our hotel at Glendale to the California Science Centre (to see the shuttle etc) took us pretty much right through downtown - and that was still a breeze. |
