How do you check their nhs records out of interest?
I haven’t yet but I went online to the national booking service and it would only let me book his first vaccine so I think that his records are not updated as it wouldn’t have said that. He does actually have the NHS app now (can get it from 13) so I could look on there and check.

I don't think the nhs site is going to enable the second vaccine bookings for non vulnerable children until Monday. I think it's going to be mega busy trying to book!

I'll ask my two to download the app - didn't realise they could get it at 13. Thank you for mentioning!

Yes, I’ve seen it from Monday also but if his vaccine was on his records, it would give a different message saying something along the lines of, “You don’t need to book at this time.” This was the case for my eldest. His was on his records. Whereas with my youngest, it would let me book him in for a first vaccine (which he’d already had). Which is dangerous actually because how many parents don’t realise that it’s supposed to be 12 weeks between doses. They might not realise and book a second. I’m sorry OP - I’ve totally taken this thread off topic.🙈

My dd just tried to get the nhs app and pass and it says she needs to be 16+

Hopefully all will become clear on Monday!

I wonder if they’ve changed it again? DS has it and it’s all set up but when I went to check his records it said 16 and over. I think the doctors have to approve it though. Hope they haven’t changed the rules again. Not that it matters because apparently he’s unvaccinated. 😫😫

Edited to add: still showing as 13 and over in App Store. 🤷🏼

Fingers crossed it all becomes clear for us all.🤞🏻

She can download the app, but the covid passport but is 16+

I'm hoping the govt is just behind on getting it all uploaded !? They have their cards as proof so it must be recorded somewhere - one would hope!

You would hope wouldn’t you?!? I’m not overly convinced. 😬
