Free bags same as ever in Walmart here, and a lot more self service checkouts too. They do now have a bin to recycle plastic bags too

I made a plastic bag recycle run earlier
I was cleaning out a kitchen cupboard they and park refillable mugs seem to breed in one particular cupboard in the villa no matter how many reusable bags I leave out but they disappear I filled a huge Home Goods reusable bag and 3 big Aldi ones I’d brought from home with them
Yes I will leave reusable bags in the villa as always

It can even be individual towns here. My mother's town on Cape Cod did away with plastic bags ages ago. They have recently even banned thd sale of small, single use plastic water bottles.
