Can you visit Polynesian without a reservation?
I’ve just watched Knappily Ever After’s travel day vlog (I highly recommend a watch!) and it looks amazing watching the fireworks from the beach with a dole whip.
Is it possible to do this if you aren’t staying at the resort/any Disney resort or is it for onsite guests only? And if you can, how do you get there (can you park there, get a taxi etc). Thank you!

Yes you can, although on very busy days they may close the beach to guests only for fireworks. If you want another vlog, PMM did it maybe six months ago (when his family was visiting) as well.
You can't park at the Poly without an ADR. If you've been at the parks earlier that day so have a parking receipt, you can park for free at the TTC and walk/monorail over. Otherwise you can park at Disney Springs and get the resort bus. There's no check whether you're a guest. Gate security may be funny with Uber dropoffs without an ADR as well. If so, again use the TTC dropoff and go from there. Edited at 11:08 PM. |

Yes you can, have done exactly this many times. You used to be able to park for free, but last time we had to park at ttc and get the monorail, which was easy and ok. If you have a dining reservation you can park at the hotel, or you certainly could last time I was there in 2019!

We were at MK this morning and thought we would have lunch at one of the monorail resorts. Just went round to the Polynesian, ate at Cap't Cook's, had a walk around, did a bit of shopping, finished with a dole whip swirl then caught the monorail back to MK.

We parked at The Contemporary with a Chef Mickeys ADR but today fancied a look at AK Lodge so just said to the gate that we intended to eat and was allowed in. As it happens we did eat there although the original intention was to look for mickey giraffe ears!
