Fastpass Info Please

Hi, it's been 2 years since we last visited Disney. Can someone remind me about booking Fastpasses please.
Are they available to book at 12 noon?
I have my onsite booking linked to my MDE account. Will everything just magically appear when my Fastpass window opens?
And finally, I can't remember if it's best to use the app or the website?
I think as I've done it all before, I've become a little complacent. It dawned on me that my 60 days out is on Monday and I've no idea what I'm doing!

Hi, I have just done it for the first time. Yes, it's 12 noon and yes it magically appears. If you log into MDE now, you'll see a padlock where the fast pass bit is. That padlock disappears once booking opens. I did need to log out and log back in again at noon so that it updated itself.

I found the website slightly better than the app, but both were glitchy for the first 20 mins or so. Lots of patience, logging out and back in required. We are going for 20 days, so I could only book the first 14 in one go and have been doing the others on a rolling basis since - I have been opening up website and app, and going with whichever one seems to be working best at the time. Yesterday, I booked two on the website, then it crashed, so booked the third one on the app.

I did ours on Wednesday. It was very very glitchy and I had to keep logging in and out. In the end took my 40 minute lunch break, but got everything I wanted.

I suspect if I’d been trying later on in the day it may have gone smoother

You will just need time and patience 😬

Thank you both Rachel and JoJo for the heads up. I'll have both the app & the website open, see which one is more successful.
