Butter and preserve on shredded wheat or weetabix has been around as long as I have but egg - really ? Is that a joke ... turned my tummy

Will stick to my staple of porridge and fresh fruit I think with maybe a bacon roll once a month as a treat (or if someone else on here posts bacon and I just cant resist ... )

My Aunt used to have weetabix with a tin of fruit cocktail on them, worked for me when she made it for me.

I don't want to spoil the thread, but I really don't think that's a fried egg in the photo. It looks like yoghurt with a slice of apricot, made to look like a fried egg, to me.

Whether that makes the combination any better is debateable. For me, all cereal is like soggy cardboard and equally revolting.

Now THAT would be quite nice - but even the mere thought of an actual fried egg on ANY cereal makes me heave!
(Mind you, I suppose the yolk when broken would provide the moisture the dish would need to be able to eat it. Yeuchhh! )
