Working at home? Fake your commute.

I had an hour's drive each way. Now as soon as I clock off I go and play an online racing game on the Playstation. Not exactly the same but it really helps switch off

This isn't something I need to do. I can easily switch between working, studying for PhD and home life.

My office has a door , as soon as I close the office door my work day is done and I try not to go into it again for any other reason.
Has worked for me for years as I worked remotely full time before lockdown too.

OH really needs to do this!
I’ll be back in the office soon I assume but OH won’t. They’re in a passive building so have no opening windows. He can’t see them being allowed back for ages and being here all the time is driving him mad.
He had a few site meetings on Friday and came home with a spring in his step

I make sure my laptop is switched off and put away and then go for a walk to get some fresh air.
When I'm at work I usually walk at lunchtime so I'm just moving it around.
I put on our local radio station in the morning to remind me of the commute but I love not rushing about. I'm hoping there will be an option to work some days at home once we go back.
