Summer wedding tuxedo or light suit?

Thoughts?

I'll set the scene if it helps
June wedding
English country garden
Glass conservatory for the ceremony

Before you ask Mr Morrow hes keeping the beard! 🤣

I love the tux, not a fan at all of light coloured suits! Although a grey checkered 3 piece would be nice too, my friends husband and groomsmen wore something similar to this for a June wedding.

Something like this...

The light colour suits look like more Caribbean beach wedding to me.

I know your venue Louise and I’m not sure the light suit would be right. As Sue said I think they would be better suited to a beach wedding.
Dinner jacket would be a lovely option depending on the style of meal and how the venue is decorated.

Which does he like best / feel most comfy in? That’s what I’d chose

I like the bottom one but it would show every bit of dirt 😬😳also he’s quite dark so maybe would look too light with his dark hair etc 💕
Both my sons had medium grey suits 🤵👰🏼

My husband wore tails too. Technically speaking a tux/dinner jacket is literally meant to be evening attire. Not that it matters of course.
As weddings used to be in the morning (many still are of course) men would wear their morning suit, usually a black jacket, and grey pin striped trousers with a waistcoat and top hat.
My husband has competed internationally with his horses though and even rides occasionally in a top hat and tails. So was very comfy in them and adamant that was what he wanted to wear.
I think an evening cocktail type do would suit a dinner jacket ❤️

Our son was married in New Zealand and there it is far more common for men to wear a tux than a suit.
