Disney Hotel parking charges increased

Hot on the annual pass increases, parking for hotel guests is being increased for reservations made from today for 2020. I know UK guests don't pay until 1st Jan 2020, but it will effect next years holiday planning.

Disney Value Resorts: $15 per night was $13
Disney Moderate Resorts: $20 per night was $19
Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts: $25 per night was $24

I’m not sure what to do for next year. We like to hire a car but that’s all our gift cards gone on hotel parking if we get one for the 15 nights. We may just get one for part of the trip but I feel like Disney are getting their way then!

So those who are maybe on a stricter budget and stay in a Value get a bigger increase.

So my argument is true. Disney only wants big spenders. If you want to do Disney on a budget they don't want you. Disgraceful.

I really felt the weight of the Disney commercial machine when we went to Disneyland Paris in December. In Florida last year at CBR we had a car, so Disney felt charming when we were there but we mostly ate away from the parks and resorts. In Paris we were half-board and without a car and I felt a bit stir crazy stuck among the relentless merchandise.

we normally have a car for the full trip but because of the introduction of hotel parking we are only hiring for part of next years trip, and also only staying onsite for 2 out of the 3 weeks instead of staying onsite the full time. All these added costs for less benefit are making me think that 2020 may be our last onsite say - esp if the rumoured paid for fast passes become truth.

Fully agree, they want to trap everyone onsite in the Disney bubble to get every last cent off you as your no use to them driving to Longhorns or Walmart.

Won't be long before parking is $30 for standard parking, it has to go up soon as the deluxe guests are now paying the same for the privilege to park as the offsiters.
