few good suggestions, though just to add a few points - As much as i like Tebay services, for your route i would not be stopping there for a few reasons, you should try and get as many miles in as possible before stopping, Tebay is still 90 mins / 90 mins from Manchester Airport. Tebay will also be very limited at that time with only the Quick Kitchen and fuel station open.

If it was me doing that route - I would do the M6 and M56 (avoid M60) at that time, and aim to stop at Lymm Services M6 which is just before you join the M56 - which is only 12 miles from the airport. - remember as the time ticks on the busier it becomes around Manchester.

motorwayservicesonline/Lymm

Catering: Bar & Grill, Costa, Greggs, McDonald's Drive Thru, Costa Express, Krispy Kreme

Or if you feel like you need to stop before, Charnock Richard Services M6 - but its not as good.
motorwayservices.info/cha...rd_services_m6

Eat-In Food: Burger King, KFC,
Takeaway Food / General: WHSmith, Starbucks

Or as others have said.. Get to the airport and eat there or even get a cheap hotel on the m6 near the airport and drive down in the night before

We normally stay in a premier inn on runger lane the night before (we travel from West coast Scotland, and hour and a half from glasgow). But they don't do breakfast that early.

You can get food in the airport, but I'm not positive what, it's been a couple of years since we flew from Manchester (we fly in a week from there) but we are all I tolerances so often just take our own munchies.
So i hope someone better comes along.
I suppose there is nothing wrong with stopping off at the golden arches and having a quick breakfast if there is one close to the airport, aa route planner will tell you where all the services are.
Have a look at Manchester airports website and see what's available, I am sure you can see what time most places open.

I would vote for breakfast and a drink in Manchester after that drive, check in and security and all that!
I know what you mean. But having to get up at 5am... seemed pointless to have a hotel! getting up and leaving at 1am,... I might snooze on the plane!

One thing has been cleared up... No F&Bs at T1 so that explains that mystery from various trip reports!

Will see what the family come up with as a preferred option. Full cooked breakfast seems my favourite

Have a check on premier inns, there are two right near the airport and we got a room for £35 last year. We still got up at 5am but we arrived early evening and chilled out in the hotel and had a really early night. I don’t think my nerves can take travelling on the motorway the same day as the flight in case something happens, road works etc etc

But if that’s not for you then there are lots of bakery’s and coffee places. It’s quite expensive though. Maybe paying for a lounge ?
Have a wonderful holiday

Do you know what time they start serving? Our flight in September is 9am (Vegas) so I’m. Thinking we need to check in at 6am 😩.

We are staying at the Holiday Inn Runger Lane at Christmas, they start serving breakfast about 4am for light continental, and about 6.30 for a fry up. Booked our room through Tesco club are points, so costing next to nothing for the room.

Maybe worth a look, instead of travelling down on the day ?

It opens at 5 for continental breakfast and the hot food comes out at 5:30. You can always check in early then have breakfast as it's a 5 minute walk. Unlimited mimosas and bloody marys too.
