The more all this goes on the more ridiculous Disney are looking. Comp should simply be the same across the board. Something for guests who booked prior to knowing about the work going on and a smaller percentage of that amount for people booking with full knowledge.

Only 6 weeks now until work starts and then we should have a lot more answers.
I know OPR needed a bit of a tidy up, but I'll miss it, lots of happy memories in there and our first ever Mickey waffles when they used to serve them on Mickey head shaped plates 😊

I have been told the latest they have heard is that there will be no microwaves available

Just caught up on all the happenings from yesterday!

I just can't fathom why Disney are continuing to be so unnecessarily confusing over all this! Glad things look sorted now albeit that will still need to be seen at check in.

Had a phone call this morning saying they will stand by the personal offer they have made me of Gift card plus Room credit,(one from guest care one from resort)but only because i have it in writing as no one was supposed to receive 2 lots of compensation .

Other info i have been told is :
The latest they have heard there will be no microwaves !
There will be a covered area to eat? unsure on seating but some will be available!
As far as they are aware /planning Movies under the stars will go ahead.
I have a call back planned once they have more details, (after a few more meeting that are due this week/next week for more details.
They are unsure what will happen re toaster ect or coffee/hot choc but she is pretty sure they will be located near food trucks (or they will be supplying hot drinks?)

If someone ants to make a list of important questions for people going in the summer if /when she calls back with the other info i will ask
