I definitely wouldn't have received it without the email. I went to the online check in counter and said that I had already gotten the email saying the room was ready but wanted to get my gift cards. He checked my reservation and said that it was not on there for me to get the gift cards. I showed him the email and he went to the supervisor. He seemed annoyed, not at us, but at the situation. Ppl received the email that wasn't supposed to have gotten it so it was making more work bc they werent prepared for those ppl. He was very nice and we didn't even have to speak to the supervisor. Once he saw the email he took care of it.

Just read it again and you're right HT. Hopefully it will be automatically given at check-in after 1st May but I REALLY want you "twofers" to get what was promised without having to whip out your CDH t-shirts

I think you will get it if you don't back down. I was $75 ×2 I pestered them constantly and I got another $200 gift card on top of the $75 a night. I took it even though it works out less, just so I could stop stressing and get back to enjoying the countdown. 😀

Well you can't blame people for asking for it because they've been told by Disney that they'll get it, I'd be the same in that position tbh..

It's Disney's way of handling it that's left a sour taste in my mouth. The way they've dealt with some dibbers in this forum is surprising, and also continuing to offer gift cards to new bookers was just like spitting in the face of people who'd already been booked for months or even over a year who booked to go there blissfully unaware of what was to unfold. More gin please 🍸🍸

Totally agree I'd want it if I was offered but it's not fair the way people are being treated. Like I got an extra 200 giftcard and 75 a night and others are being told no. It's not right
