Lots of perks to DLP for sure. Depending on when you go 3 nights is 100% enough time.

Stay on site if you can get the right price. Disney hotels will offer park tickets for each day of your stay as part of the package including the day you leave. This includes park hopping. Best of all the extra magic allows you to get most of the big rides in before it picks up in any way.

The 2 parks are side by side which is a massive pro and any of the Disney hotels are easy walking distance except maybe Davy Crocket.

Ride wise - great unique rides and better/great alternatives to classic rides. For me Paris has the best Pirates/Mansion/Space/Big thunder. Unique rides include Ratatouille, Crush and Indy.

It’s got my favourite Disney Castle and of all The Disney castle parks Paris is my favourite... Studios leaves a lot to be desired but it’s still decent.
Could almost have written this myself!
No need to plan to the extent you do for WDW. That said, if you want to eat at any table service places, you are best to book in advance. You can phone 60 days in advance but, if you use the Dutch site, you can book even further out.

Do use the EMH if you’re on-site. We got loads done like that and even managed Crush in 15 minutes one day.

Go expecting it to be different. Don’t keep comparing it to WDW.

There are some cracking rides and, as the pp said, better versions of some Disney faves.
