Mobile Recommended insurance providers cancer

Hi. A friend of mine is undergoing chemo at present for stage 4 cancer. She would love to go to Orlando and if her consultant says she can when she has a break in chemo can anyone recommend how she might get travel insurance?

Thank you x

My cancer is stage 3, my first piece of advice is dont give up, my first quotes were over £3k but I got it down to £300 with research. Use the companies listed by the cancer charities linked below.

cancerresearchuk/abo...ance-companies

macmillan.uk/informa...insurance.html

Also there are specific groups for the type of cancer, they will also help you on their websites or discussion groups.

I found a great price at First World Travel, they were the cheapest for me for a high level of cover and they get good reviews.

I hope she gets to go, but as I said don't get disheartened and give up, I nearly did. This is my last trip to Florida I know that but at least I'm going and remembering that will make you determined.

Good luck!

Another vote for First World Travel - we used these when my Dad went to Florida on last trip and he had stage 4 terminal cancer

My DH used insurance with when we last went to WDW. However once he was having chemo every two weeks, they wouldn't insure him. So we found it really depends on how often your having treatment and the specifics of the cancer. We also used free spirit to cover us when we went to Europe. So it's best to give them a call and make sure you tell them everything so the quote covers you fully. Best of luck

My Dad had chemo and radiotherapy for Parotid gland cancer 18 months ago and is on monthly hospital checkups. The best quote I managed to get to include cover for his cancer was Insure With. He has worldwide annual cover for £190. It was originally more than this but I found a promotional code on Google which they accepted.
