DOLPHIN HOTEL - Photos and Info

We have stayed here before in 2007, we have booked to go back in 2012, staying at the Dolphin for 14 nights.

However, I cant remember if we have to pay for parking at the Disney parks, or do we just show our room key?

I love this thread, keep looking at the pictures and cant wait.

We stayed here last year and they were charging a supplement for every time you left/entered the hotel car park. So at that time you would be charged although I am not sure about the parking at the park itself.

No you cannot use DDP at this hotel BUT the money you save on the cost more than makes up for it and it has some of the best restaurants and "fast food" on property.

Walks are about 10 mins to Epcot and about 15 to Hollywood Studios but again, if you factor in the walk to a bus stop, the wait at that bus stop and then the journey its self its very quick. Its wonderfull going for a stroll in the morning sun too. Oh and when you leave on a busy night (like Xmas and New Year) there is nothing better than walking past all the transport queues and simply walking back to your room

We LOVE the Dolphin and will choose it over all the Disney hotels for our next trip...whenever that might be.

What about the resort fee. We go in Aug. when it's free QS DDP with no resort fee at Riverside - Staying at the Swan-Dolphin with no dining and resort fee on top - is it worth it?

hi, we have seen a great rate for the dolphin but its a AAA rate we have an AA card will we be ok to use this card, we have used it before in a universal hotel but not this one, thanks

Yes you will be fine using your AA card, in fact I don't think reception even asked for the card at check-in, last time we booked AAA Rate. You can also use your AA card to get a discount on food at Picabu and some of the restaurants, I think it was 15%, sorry so long since we went, but worth checking that they still give the Triple A discount at the restaurants, don't say AA as they won't have a clue what you mean. Hope that helps.
