Sorry Tracy it was just the first thing that came to mind - they don't normally upgrade / move for the fun of it! I would just accept it and enjoy the experience! Go for the 1 bed at OKW - have you been reading Barry and Carons trippies - there are some lovely pics of a room at OKW!

Exactly. They're not silly.

BarryandCarons photos show just how much of an improvement this refurb has been. The flooring is a billion times better!

Great choice! As Leanne said, the washer and dryer are likely to come in handy with a two year old, as will the full kitchen.

I LOVE staying in a 1 bed, one thought, where will she sleep? Is she in a cot? because normally in a 1 bed the kids are on the sofabed, although with a toddler I'd probably stick them in my bed or on an airbed if they are too big for a cot.

We're with our 2 year old so it may be nice to have a separate living area for when Clemmie has gone to bed, but what does everyone think? I was really looking forward to POR but now I'm in two minds!

All thoughts welcome about how the resorts will suit travelling with a toddler.

Thanks!
Claire
did you book direct with disney or through a travel agent.

You'll hopefully get the upgrade on the DDP too. At the deluxes you get the full dining plan rather than the quick service one you'd get at the CBR

We've booked a travel cot, but I think we'll take blow up bed too for her just in case she's too big.

We've booked direct with Disney.

I just got offered the same upgrade to one of these two hotels, from port orleans. Only problem is, I don't want to be sharing a bed with the guy i'm going with >.<

Do all of the studio and 1 bed rooms have king sized beds? Because then we'll have to stick with port orleans and that would be a real shame!
