You're welcome EB, good time to be on Sanibel/Captiva, once season kicks off in January getting off can take hours; friends who winter on Pine Island took 3.5 hours to drive 35 miles from Sanibel to Pine Island, ouch!

We winter on the north end of Pine Island (Bokeelia) and head out into PI Sound towards Captiva, stopping in at Jensen's Marina. You may be aware; there's a natural aquifer at Jensen's where you'll find many manatee floating around the docks. In case your unaware, head to Captiva, take the sharp right and left turns, The Green Flash will be on your right, about 100 yards or so on turn right at the sign for Jensen's Twin Palm Cottages and Marina, satellite mapped it HERE for you (drag and drop the gold man onto the road to see the sign). The manatee may be in by then, depends if The Sound is below 68 degrees.

We head off in November, I'll sort our flights out soon! Have a smashing holiday
