Wands at Leavesden are £29 (including VAT). At Orlando Universal they are $39.95 plus 6.5% tax = $46.54 (at 1.30 that makes them around
£36) so in that respect Leavesden is cheaper.

Interesting... it's been about 4/5 years since buying wands over there but had it in my mind they were $29.95 plus tax... have they gone up or is my memory playing tricks on me

Looks fantastic in the snow!

I'm toying with taking my mum and DS next year as my mum is a huge HP fan. DS loves HP but has only read the first two books and seen the first 2 films. I'm happy to let him read 3rd book next year but as he's only 8 don't want him reading any more than that yet. Will it spoil it for him if he doesn't know more of the HP world?

Thanks for sharing your day, it looks amazing. It's my daughters 11th birthday next weekend and we are surprising her with a birthday trip to Hogwarts, I will try to follow your tip to sit near the front. I do hope she has the chance to open the doors!

The Cast Members will ask if you are celebrating something such as a birthday, anniversary etc. it usually results in about 6 to 10 people getting the honour. To get near the front row of the cinema head to the door furthest on the left in the pre-show room.

Looks like you all had an amazing visit! We went for a 60th birthday celebration around 18 months ago and had a wonderful day but looking at your photographs I think a return visit for the Christmas experience could be on the cards

thanks for sharing, I'm thinking of booking this for my son's birthday (around Halloween time) but I'm so tempted to go at Christmas time because it looks beautiful!
