That didn’t work for us - we’ve had dogs before (including collieXlabs) so we know all the tricks in the book, but Woody just wouldn’t take no, or swapping toys out, or being crated (as a time out. He crates perfectly at night. Cried for about 30 mins on night one and never again) or ignored etc. We had a specialist trainer out for him anyway (because it was 15 years since we had a puppy - not because of the nipping! That’s was all arranged before that started) and even he was like this dog just doesn’t know when to stop and has a really high tolerance for being told off before it’s clicking.

He’s grown out of it now, but the first 8ish weeks were really really hard work. It was NEVER nasty, he’s just playing and going and going and going. He doesn’t chew anything in the house other than post - entirely my sisters fault and there is now a box behind the letter box to catch the post before he does!

She’s got a big crate with a lovely soft bed in for in the kitchen which is where she will spend night times
I have a smaller crate in boot of car (i800 car so massive boot)

She is already being spoiled before she gets here
Numerous toys
Puppie treats to aid house training
Poop bags lol

I’ve booked her in vets for her jabs and to going the vet plan
Her insurance is sorted
There’s a collar and lead in there she has a gorgeous tag
I’m picking her up then taking her for a harness fitting for when she can go walks!
My kids woke up this morning and their first words were how many more days till spirit comes home!

Awww bless her! I think Woody has more toys than we did as kids haha!
