Glasgow to Orlando April 2020 price advice
Long term Dibb lurker here looking for advice on a planned trip next April.
We are looking to go for 10 nights from Monday 20 to Thursday 30 2020, intending to stay in a Rosen hotel on International Drive. It's GF's 30th on 21 April so keen to try to stick to those dates to celebrate when we are there. Best price we have found is through BA for 10 nights at the Rosen International for approx £860 flying from Glasgow with a connection thru Gatwick. Any opinions on whether that is reasonable? (I understand this is subject and we should just pay what we are willing to - but second opinions are handy). Previously we have stayed for 2 weeks so interested to see opinions on the price Vs length of stay. Should we consider waiting until the BA sale in September? Thanks |

Hi
Is that for economy ? If so I think that is really expensive although may be about right for premium Also look at Edinburgh as sometimes there is a huge difference I usually pay 500-550 but this year got Glasgow via Gatwick for under £400 Other routes to look at are via Paris or Amsterdam it doesn’t add anything to time you arrive . Hope that helps Edited at 01:46 PM. |

BA flights are expensive at the moment for those dates at over £600 with BA directly or looking at Skyscanner they're giving them at £544. Edinburgh looks more expensive for your dates too.
You could look at booking it separately to see if that would save you money or even doing the journey to Manchester? You'd have the Thomas Cook & Virgin options open to you

Thanks for the advice - really appreciate it.
@tartan tink - the price was for economy @thatdavieguy I think you are right about booking separately rather than a package - iv managed to knock a fair chunk off the price already so a bit more research |
