Disney Springs, the void
Any good?
Teenage son a massive Star Wars fan. My 8 year old son also but looks like age limit 10. Are they strict with it? |

Don't know about age restrictions, but we had a great time doing this last year. If you're into Star Wars as a one off, it's good.
What the guys who run it watching us must have thought, I don't know. Must look hilarious to them. |

You have to sign a waiver. Unless you weren't good with numbers maybe and made a mistake ... I am guessing they have to have it and the waiver for insurance reasons

I'm saying if you were prepared to basically lie and "accidentally" write down your son's year of birth incorrectly on the waiver then he could get in as he would be "accidentally" 10 years of age on the form not 8. However, I assume the waiver is there for a good reason and that he will not be insured if you have written his date of birth incorrectly on the waiver form.
But that is your call to make. I have read on the Dibb that some Dibbers have got their 9 year old kid in using this method.

Cool thanks for that, he’s a big lad and sensible so would probably get away with it to be honest 👍🏻

It’s awesome. Did the Star Wars one twice last year. Expensive for the duration, but I think worth it.
Going again this year but will try the wreck it Ralph version. |

The 10 year age is a recommendation and discretionary so I’d rather be up front than lie personally

We did it last year and loved it.
You do sign a massive waiver and I would agree it’s probably best to be honest. It does say it’s discretionary and, having done it, I think it’s possibly because the kit and helmet are pretty heavy. So if he is a big lad for his age I would maybe speak to the manager to get agreement. This was our day doing it last year (scroll down to after the shopping pics!) https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho... php?t=1086971
