Sun bed hire Clearwater & parking/ferry

Just doing bit of very last minute planning
We hope to get to the gulf coast, probably Clearwater for a day trip. Does anyone know or can recommend sun bed, parasol hire etc? Also if we do hire, do they take them back at a certain time? I don't want to be chucked off at 5pm!

We also seen that you can park up and use a ferry to get to the beach - anyone used this and would you recommend?

Any Clearwater tips very much appreciated!

We went to Clearwater for the day a few years ago. As far as I remember we drove into the town, spotted a car park so parked there and hired 2 chairs and a parasol right in front of where we`d parked. We had no idea where we were going but it turned out to be a great spot, although it wasn`t cheap. We were there quite early and had plenty of choice, but all the beds were booked up by mid day. Also we left before 5 so couldn`t say what time they packed up
Sorry I can`t be more specific... probably not much help am I?

There's no ferry. You drive to Clearwater and park up. Parking is limited so arrive early.
Sunbed hire etc is in and around $40 for 2

We park by Pier 60 and just walk onto the beach. There are loads of chairs, parasols, half tents on the beach to hire. You can hire for half or full days.

The car park is is just behind.

There is a ferry which runs from downtown Clearwater to the marina and other areas.

Never used as we stay in Clearwater Beach for our entire holiday, I would rather pay to park in Clearwater beach than have to walk from the marina to the beach, particularly in that heat carrying all my beach stuff!

Plenty of options for parking, there’s a couple of multi story car parks and parking at the marina, beach and beside the Opal Sands.

Has a good link to a parking map.

Thanks very much. Yes, that is the ferry I came across. looked maybe nice to do when just exploring the area, rather than a beach day with all the gear.
Up and out very early seems the way to go.
Thanks again for the info.
