San Francisco heavy metal tours?

My son is a huge fan of San Francisco Bay thrash metal. Bands like Metallica & Megadeth etc... all the big bands of this genre come from this area, does anyone know if there�s any tours or museums or thrash places of interest?!? I�m bringing him for his birthday in April & I know he would just love this! Thanks.

I've asked a couple of friends who live in the area and have similar musical tastes and I'm afraid there doesn't appear to be anything - its maybe a bit too recent for a museum or tour? There is a list of some of the venues in the area on wikipeadia if that's of interest.

Might also be worth checking out if anyone is on tour around that time and taking in a gig

Thanks for enquiring for me, much appreciated.
I tried googling to no avail, but I�ve found a few cafes, bars Metallica used to hang out in, so that�ll be amazing for him to see.
I�ll definitely check out venues or what gigs is on & hopefully there�ll be something. Thanks again 🤘🏻

Dylans tour will take you to where the likes of J Hendrix and Joplin used to hang out - nice bit of culture there for your son!

Yes I read about that before I booked, so he�ll be excited about that! I�ve also found a few bars & a cafe that Metallica used to hang out in!
