May 2019 the one where we won't cram too much in
Hello all please see below my proposed trip plan I'd be grateful for your thoughts! Few points to note:
- We are going for 2 weeks from 18 May (13 Nights actually) staying at Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando for most of it and last 3 nights at Portofino - I know that MK/EPCOT are not recommended parks for our first couple of days but it just feels wrong not to do them first so we are braving the crowds - The aim of this trip is to have a more relaxed pace, on our last trip we rushed about and never stopped and left ourselves feeling worse for wear. We are prioritizing our time which means no ADRs (they just aren't for us) and none of the kiddy rides (Peter Pan for instance). Instead of rushing to cram in rides/attractions/shows that we aren't particularly bothered about I hope to spend more time soaking up the atmosphere and stressing out about ticking every. single. thing. off. Also side note I'm vegan so have made a note of my options which will hopefully avoid frantic google searches when hungry. Trip Plan Sat 18 Travel Day whole foods shop/pool/wandering time Sun 19 MK Early start, will be busy not aiming to do much, dinner on I drive/pool To Do BTRM, Splash, Space, Philarmagic, Pirates, 7DMT, Haunted Mansion, Buzz, Jungle Cruise, Festival of Fantasy Vegan Dole Whip Aloha Isle, Tinks Cone Storyland, Hot dog Caseys, Southwest burger Peco Bills, Sloppy Joe Cosmic Ray, Flatbread Pinocchio Mon 20 EPCOT Early start, Disney springs evening for tea To Do Soaring, Test Track, Misson Space, Spaceship Earth, World Showcase Living with the Land Vegan Breakfast wrap Sunshine Seasons Beaches & Cream/Sorbet in France Frontina Cocina Mushroom Sandwich/Blaze, Erin McKenna Tues 21 AK Late morning to evening to see the night show and Pandora at night To Do Flight of Passage, Navi River, Everest, Lion King, Nemo, Dinosaur, Safari, Tree at night, Rivers of Light Vegan Satuli Canteen, Crispy Tofu rice bowl, Cauliflower Yak & Yeti Wed 22 Blizzard Beach steady day after late night meal on idrive Vegan Veg Burger at park, Yard House/ Bahama Breeze for tea Thurs 23 Disney Springs and MK evening for fireworks as forecast to be quieter To Do Wishes as well as repeats of our favourite rides Vegan House of Blues/Raglan Road, Erin McKenna Fri 24 Hollywood Studios afternoon & evening To Do Toy Story, Slinky Dog, Tower of Terror, Rocking Rollercoaster, Space Tours, Fantasmic Vegan Grilled cheese or tochotos made vegan Woodys toy box, Nachos Dockside Sat 25 Shopping/pool day parks forecast to be busy and will be tired Sun 26 EPCOT evening Disney Springs for vegan lunch maybe Beaches & Cream or Bakery To Do – fireworks and any repeats Mon 27 Memorial Day no fixed plans but can revisit anything we haven’t already done Tues 28 Universal/IOA Check into Universal 7am for Express Pass all day in parks To Do – Harry Potter rides, Mummy, King Kong, Despicable Me, Shrek, MIB, Fast & Furious, Simpsons, Jimmy Fallon, Spiderman, Transformers, Jurassic Park Vegan – Burgers at Mels/Jurrassic, Anjiohotos, Voodoo doughnuts Wed 29 Volcano Bay & Toothsome for vegan milkshake Thurs 30 Universal/IOA To Do – any of the rides missed and repeats Fri 31 Check out of Universal – few hours in the park? It’s great to have a plan, but don’t get too transfixed on it...if it can go wrong, it will.
Just stick to the plan loosely and go with the flow, above all, just have fun and enjoy yourself. |

Personally I wouldn't say that was relaxed but if that's what your happy with go for it. As said above be prepared that things may need to change. We go 19th May and are having a relaxed one this time too xx
