gopro alterative?

Keen on this myself but a bit ignorant so a have a few questions:

are you allowed these in Disney parks?

Do you carry them on a selfie stick?

Yes you are allowed to use them in Disney parks, and selfie sticks are banned, so you've got to look for other means of carriage - I know The Tim Tracker uses a GoPro wrist strap for his, and I've seen blogs with the chest mounts and Peak Designs Capture clip on a backpack being used

Thanks for the response, few more questions though...
can they be used just for general filming around the parks and if so can you use mounts other than chest or wrist mounts as these don't seem very practical?

They can but I'd find them hard to use in that regard - esp if your wanting to do any filming of yourselves.

Basically your not allowed anything that extends in your hand in any of the WDW parks
