Feeling hungry again-your homemade schnitzel looks lovely! A busy day, I bet the views from the roof were great. I love sitting outside eating, Augustiner is our favourite beer! Maximillians food looks good apart from the ‘tiny’ coke-did Max try the MezzoMix/Spezi? (coke mixed with Fanta)

I'm not such a connoisseur of beer I'm afraid, but I'm glad the one we tried was good! Poor Max he was very put out at his paltry offering, we didn't ask for small coke I guess it's just the size they serve! He would have loved to try out the coke fanta combo, I didn't even know it existed, I'd have told him if I knew as he loves to make his own cocktails out of the fountain soda at wdw so he would've definitely been up for that.

The meal looks delicious, I definitely would go there if we visit Berlin. Your homemade schnitzel looks really tasty too. We ate at Biergarten on our trip this year, really enjoyed it, shared our table with a lovely young American couple on their Disneymoon 😀 who were very friendly and chatty

Hehe I'm glad my schnitzel is getting some love!

I'm glad to hear good reviews for Biergarten, we've never eaten there and I'm keen to try some new places as well as old favourites. I think it's going to make it to the final list for ADRs! It was shortlisted in the past and I think I ended up bumping it back in 2016 for an Ohana ADR. I'm glad you had an interesting conversation with the Disneymooners!

Max would have been more impressed if he’d drank here, the kids drinks are the same size as our beer! If you return to Germany you can look out for the Mezzo Mix.

The schnitzel was delicious and you're right the portions were huge and I think the prices were really reasonable.

It was a great day of sightseeing. The Reichstag building was fantastic to walk around. Also the sunny weather at least for most of the day really helped.

I like that you got a photo with Max at Maximilians. I'm not surprised he was disappointed about the size of his coke compared to your steins though... maybe for the best though as they'd be bouncing off the walls with all that sugar and caffeine!

Going up to the top of the Reichstag was good, the views were excellent and we were lucky it was a clear day so we could see a long way. It was pretty cold up there.

Poor Max with the tiny portion of coke! Ha ha, it was such a hilarious contrast to the huge beers!

We did quite well with our room treats from Lidl, it was handy that it was round the corner from the hotel.
