Where to stay near port canaveral

Hi we are looking for somewhere to stay for a couple of nights before our cruise. We are sailing from port canaveral. We have been contemplating Best Western cocoa beach hotel and suites and lost in paradise cocoa beach. Has anyone stayed at one of these or anywhere else that is worth considering? We will not arrive until late on the first night and will just relax on our full day there. Well relax and do some washing so wherever we choose must have access to a washing machine. Thanks in advance.

If you want Cocoa Beach, Westgate Resorts get lots of recommendations from the cruise fraternity. it's close to the breach, has a lazy river and a concierge beach service for drinks!

Thank you for the reply we have actually booked the best western now but I will keep westgate resort in mind for the future.

Good to read this Joa. We had a room booked at Tuckaway Shores. But I decided nobody should sleep on a sofa bed so I managed to get 2 nights at Westgate for the same price in a 2 bed suite!
It didn't come up on my radar because it was near the bottom for reviews but then I saw they were all old and it's had $15m spent on it. It looks amazing, we are so excited. Perfect way to start the holiday and prepare for the cruise.
