Anybody stayed at The retreat champions gate

We have booked a villa here for 2 weeks in October, I have asked questions before about the championsgate area but anybody out there stayed on this actually site, I like to have as much information as possible as it’s our first Florida holiday and there’s doesn’t seem to be many reviews on the internet about this community, Thanks in advance ! 😀

Hi. We stayed here in 2017 on Moon Valley Drive.

The Villa was beautiful and the complex with the pool/slide/lazy river was fantastic.

The only thing I found was that it was a bit too far out of the way for us (DH and I were the only drivers so it driving so it was quite tiring)

We've got a villa booked at Moon Valley Drive at Champions Gate for 3 weeks late October into November. There are shops and restaurants close by and the club house food is very good. We have stayed at Emerald Isle before but the villa needed upgrading so we decided to go to a newer resort. We love having our own pool after long days at the parks.

Yes we stayed at the retreat April/May 2018 and loved it. We had a fabulous villa. To be honest we only used the Oasis club once during or two week stay. There is a publix and lots of eating places nearby. First watch became one of our favourites for breakfast. The only downside for us was the traffic to and from the parks as the traffic was really heavy. However, I’m sure there have been others on here who have stated alternative routes to the ones we used. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

We have a villa booked for a week in August at Moon Valley Drive and really looking forward to it. We are only doing universal and won’t be doing parks every day so hope to use the facilities.
