There is no seating to watch the parade. It's just a reserved viewing area where you stand to watch it. It's a decent spot though

Thank you. Do they crowd the area or more room than on the sides of Main Street.

Is Tony's the only participating restaurant - I think I would rather take my chances on the sidewalk

We did this in August and again last week and the view of the parade was excellent imo, we sat on the curb with no one around us while the crowd was six rows deep on the opposite side of the street. We had a adr for 1pm and the parade was at 3pm.

Edited at 11:27 PM.

We did this and enjoyed both the meal and the parade view. It's an excellent spot you see the parade coming down main street towards you. Only disadvantage is no shade.

My Review with photos is here

I think doing Crystal Palace for breakfast and parade dining on the same day will be too much tbh. Crystal Palace is an all you care to enjoy buffet and parade dining is 3 courses. Either one of those meals would do us for most of the day...with a snack and light meal later on.
Plus there’s the time element too. Character meal at Crystal Palace will be 90 minutes, 3 course sit down at Tony’s at least 60. That’s 2.5 hours.
If the parade is 2pm the last parade dining package adr is 12 or 12.30pm.
You eat your meal and are given a ticket for the vip viewing area. The parade starts in Frontierland at 2pm...by the time it reaches you at the top of Main Street it will be around 210/215pm. The parade takes about 15/20 minutes to pass you.
The viewing spot you are given with the package is amazing. We got there at just before 2pm and there was hardly anyone in it. It was well worth the 1ts credit

It’s around $55 per person for adults.
