Best help I have had is the Ulmon app. Over the last few months every time I have seen any tips for restaurants and attractions I have put it on to the map on the app. You can then see areas and plan routes.
Also a Facebook site nyc the place to be had been really good. Visit a city app also has suggested itineraries.

We go for 5 nights in 15th February. Serious panicking about the weather at the minute !

I went for the first time at the end of May & absolutely loved it. I’d advise to make a rough plan, group things together in areas so you’re not traipsing backwards and forwards every day. We bought the 7 attraction ticket & a pass for the week to use the metro which we found invaluable. We did loads and still didn’t get to do everything we wanted so we’re looking at going back for Christmas. Some of our highlights were the hop on hop off bus (we did this on our first morning to try and get our bearings, SOL, Empire State (preferred it to Rockafella), got the metro to Brooklyn and walked back over the bridge to Manhattan, loved the highline & highly recommend The Ride - my Mum has no idea what it was about and she found it fascinating. Hope you have a fab time!
