Self Promotion & Advertising on the DIBB
Hi,
We are getting an increase in some members advertising their commercial interests through postings, signature and profile links. I would like to remind members that advertising and self promotion is not allowed. If you own, work for, or are associated with any company then you may not promote that company on this site without the express permission of the administrators. This includes, but not limited to, Private Messages, Profile Messages, Homepage link in your profile, other profile fields, Username, Signatures and Posting links or Recommendations in the forums. The DIBB is very popular and receives a massive amount of traffic each day and obviously provides a very good avenue to promote a company or service that you have a vested interest in. Please remember that such self promotion is not allowed on this site. In addition we do not allow self promotion of individuals social media accounts, Vlogs, Blogs and personal websites. We don't really want to see threads full of "follow me", "like me", "subscribe", etc. It is ok to add your social media links to your forum profile but please do not post links or account names in the forums. Thank you
