DVC Freebies, Mailshots & Gifts 2003 On.

As I promised I intend to show a lot of the stuff we have had since we joined back in 2003.

For many years DVC sent out regular mailshots albeit these have now stopped.

So here is a start. This is just a tiny amount of what we have got and I will add to it daily.

One of the first gifts, a peel off vinyl hence its back to front!

We probably have circa 100 of these leflets. booklets and price rise notifications. Can't recollect the last time we had one so I assume they don't wish to correspond with me.

Hi Tom
We have most of these in our big DVC bag that contains all our bits n bobs.
We dont get any correspondence now apart from the files and dues letters.
These would be the last "freebies" we recieved.
Great for the fridge.

Yes have those. I also have the Giclee and sadly a lovely box that did contain a DVC 'medallion' type thing but the box was empty.

Is that the blue backpack with the brown leather? If so, then yes we've got that one and it's still as good as new despite many trips across the Atlantic. It's a great quality bag - I dread to think what sort of a price tag would be on a similar one nowadays

I still have this. Still in excellent condition and has been taken every time we go.

We have /had a picture with all the resorts on. I think it may be the ‘glicee’ mentioned.

The only other thing I think we’ve had was on cruises. We have a fridge magnet and 2 pictures which we framed and had on the wall until we moved last year.
We’ve got some awful red hats as well.

For 10 years membership we’ve had very little really. We did used to get some thick points books but those stopped years ago.

Brilliant post, I’ll be looking forward to seeing more. Anything more from SSR launch period?
It’s surprising how quickly things date isn’t it, the BLT adverts look really old fashioned, I still think of that as a new resort!
