Mobile MNSSHP for toddlers

Hi All, I have just seen the dates for MNSSHP 2019 and the first one falls on the last night of our holiday. Normally we like to be in MK on the last night but hadn’t banked on the extra cost to do it. We are also travelling with 3 year old twins as well as an 8yo and 12yo. Would anyone recommend MNSSHP for this age range? I would be interested in positive and negatives . Thanks 😊

We went in 2017 with a 3 year old and he fell asleep and missed most of it! We did it on our last night and I think he was just exhausted. Our 18 month old however was awake and absolutely loved it so it varies from child to child. Just make sure you have a chilled day before it. We’re doing it again this year and our youngest will be 3

I think it depends how the 3 year olds are in the parks at nighttime.
My DS was no good at that age so I knew it would be a waste but some children are fine staying up or happy to sleep in the buggy.

The 8 and 12 year old would love it.

I'm torn on this too. Mine will be 10, 8 and 3.5 when we go, I would like to do MNSSHP, but I am not sure if the little one would hold up, and if he struggled whether it would spoil it for everyone else if he was tired and grumpy

We had our three year (just turned three a couple days before the party) old niece with us last year. She loved it, had a great time collecting candy and talking to all the cast members. Think she had a sleep in the afternoonand was still going strong when we left the park after midnight

Our 3.5yo loved it, highlight was the spooky teacups and dancing with Mike, Sully and Boo!

Just to forwarn you, the first party is always absolutely rammed. We did the first one in August last year and the crowds were awful. 3 hour lines for characters an hour before the party had even started. I’d never do it again on the first night. Just make sure you know exactly what you want to do and prioritise characters ..you will not be able to do everything, especially if you want to meet Moana or Jack and sally ...you will miss everything if you line up for them.

That said, MNSSHP is my favourite Disney event and we have done it multiple times. Definitely dress up.

Thanks for the heads up. We never planned to be there for this but thought it would be a different experience. Hopefully we won’t regret it .
