Renting DVC points and DDP
Hello
Can I rent DVC points and add the dining plan? My plan is a package with Disney for 2 weeks with 21 day tickets and DDP.. then move to Beach Club as I really want to stay there for 1 week and rent dvc points and add the dining plan...using the last 7 days of our 21 day ticket. We missed the free dining for this year, we are going in October. Is this possible? TIA! |

Yes you can, but you have to pay the US $ price, not the UK £ price. The person/company you rent points from needs to book it for you.

The DDP is poor value for most people when paying in $ via DVC- do the calculations- most DVC owners do not get it, polls show only about 20% or so get it (once saw a poll with 600 answers and it was just over). You are better off probably paying cash, and throwing in some quick serve to lower the bills - some great ones within a walk of BWV. That's my view anyway.
You will I am sure love staying at BWV, it is wonderful!

I did a rough calculation we are currently staying at AOA for 3 weeks, taking 6 nights off our stay off saves us £1100
6 nights at BWV with DDP renting points costs roughly £1500 and that is good enough for me! Comparatively booking direct is coming out £3k even wihtout DDP ! Plus to book DDP you have to buy tickets again... We like the ddp as we don't have to think about food costs too Edited at 11:10 PM. |
