Festival of Fantasy Parade Dining Package
I'm thinking of booking this for our 1st day, but am not sure exactly what it is. On the Disney site it mentions the parade has a duration of 12 minutes. When booking the dining it offers various time slots.
Can anyone tell exactly what this is, how long it last and if booking the dining option what time to go for? Do you sit somewhere you can see while eating? Also I was going to put crystal palace in for breakfast. Is 1 hour good enough? Then say FP at 10.30, 11.30, 12.30 then the parade dining? Or will that not work? Edited at 10:09 PM. |

You don't watch it from the restaurant whilst eating. You eat at any of the available times and you get a pass for a reserved viewing area on on Main Street to watch the parade from.

Thanks. So is the parade at 2pm? I have someone else's planner and they have put 2 hours for eating and then 2 hours for the parade?

At present it's on at 3pm, but I'm not sure if the time changes at all during the year. 1.5 hours is normally enough for eating as Disney like to turn tables, so it will probably be more like an hour. You certainly don't need 2 hours for the parade though.

I know the parade is 2pm when we will be there in August, so probably best to check park hours on here for your dates

Yes. You eat, then get a pass to watch the parade afterwards from the reserved viewing area. This info is from the Disney site:
You receive your voucher for the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade Dining Package VIP viewing at the time of your meal. Your VIP voucher is only valid for day’s showing of the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. Plan to arrive for Main Street, U.S.A. flagpole 15-to-35 minutes prior to show time. The Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade Dining Package is available on all Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade show days. Showtimes may be found on the online calendar, the My Disney Experience app and the Times Guide at Magic Kingdom park. The Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is subject to change or cancellation without notice. Dining packages will not be refunded due to show cancellation or modification. In the event of a parade cancellation due to inclement weather, VIP viewing will be made available for an alternative parade within 5 days of the date you were originally scheduled to attend. Valid theme park admission is required. Please note that your dining experience will still take place, even in the event that your entertainment experience is canceled. disneyworld.disney.go/en...ining-package/

Does this package get booked up quite quickly?
Also presume this can only be booked over the phone?

Ignore above... I have in fact just booked for our April stay! Didn’t even think about this one... DS loves watching the parades on YouTube and when we were in DLP in November!
Anyone explain the seating please. Where it is... how it is set out etc
