Las Vegas FC game.

I’m bringing my son in a surprise trip to Vegas & he’s s football fan. I’d love to bring him to a game if there was on on while we’re there, anyone been to one before? Where is their stadium & how would I go about getting tickets? I’ve no clue about football in general so any help would be great 👍🏻

I am probably the last person to comment, but will it be football season while you are there? Not sure I am a member of a Vegas forum and can ask on there if you get no replies here.

After a bit of googling I see they play in Cashman Field which I believe is in Downtown, so we’ll definitely be needing taxis to & from there. Need to know how safe the area is as It’s just me & my son.

Not familiar with that area at all. Guess Uber/Lyft will be cheaper. I am a member of MyVegas friends rock and some members are locals so could ask on there. Do they have a football season like we do? I dont even know when the UK season starts and finishes
Would guess if you take an Uber to gate of stadium you should be safe...not that I know the area but guess it would be some where easily accessible for locals?

I’ll do a little more research. I remember my son saying to me when we where going to Vegas last year about their new soccer team, & that we should try & see them! We didn’t as I’m not into football, but thought as I’m bringing him for his birthday that he’d love to see them!

That would be lovely for him. Let me know if you want me to post on that other forum. I seem to remember at the back of my mind...I think..that the footie season starts in September for maybe 3/4 months but I could be totally wrong!

The US football (soccer) season starts in March with pre season games in February.

If its the LV Lights Football Club, they have home games at Cashman Fields on March 9th and 30th, April 13th then May 4th & 11th according to their website so not sure if any of those dates work for you. There is a link to buying tickets on their too.

Thanks again Jo, If you wouldn’t mind asking if the area is ok we’ve been to Fremont last year so used lyft, I think the stadium is about 10 mins drive from Fremont according to google, so need to see if I’d be ok getting a lyft or Uber back again, with having no WiFi.

Yes I will ask on MVFR about the safety of the area. No problem at all, Just want to say we went to Fremont and had no wifi and did have problems connecting to wifi there. Did you?
