New to cruising - april 2015 4nght bahamas
Looking at this cruise for next April. (2015)
is £1,300 a good price, 1 adult, 2 kids or is it a lot? I realise I am probably booking quite late. Also , sailing from Miami or port canveral - is one recommended over the other ?

It depends on the cabin etc.
If you go to cruisefish you can see the prices of cruises and see if they have gone up or down. You can then compare the rate you are being quoted with how much others have paid for the same cruise. If you are going to be in Orlando then Port Canaveral is closer and more convenient.

We are going 27th April - 1st May on the Dream 4-nt and initially paid £930 for a deluxe inside cabin. We have now upgraded to concierge which cost us an extra £800 oops!

I think if you can get £100 per person, per night, it's a good deal, and your not far off that at all, but that depends on the cabin, ship, etc
We're in concierge on the 4th May, so don't make a mess

It's a good benchmark and it's what I tell people when they ask how much DCL is.
Of course, the cocktails push it up to around £200 pppn for most Dibbers!
