I've been to DLP a few times & absolutely love it. I can't wait to go again even though I very fortunately went in June & WDW in August. I had a fantastic time in WDW but hasn't diminished my love of DLP. You take them both differently. I will always love DLP as I least I can get there fairly frequently but it'll be years before I can get to WDW again due to the cost

We went on a last minute trip to DLP - we were visiting Paris for our 1st wedding anniversary, and after much deliberation and reading the forum felt it was rude not to give it a go.

We are due to go to Orlando next August (booked before going to DLP).

The overwealming advice was DO NOT COMPARE IT TO FLORIDA! Since we haven't been to Florida, we can't compare, and I won't when we go. I know that they are two different experiences.

We came home loving every moment of DLP, I have to say that we found the staff polite, helpful and friendly, I do recall the smoking, but that doesn't bother me, and I don't recall graffitti near Haunted Mansion. And France is expensive as a country anyways, throw a Disney park on top... The people that pushed in were not the French... overall I was expecting France to be full of English hating Parisians... far from it!

We are planning to do the Sun Offer and go again the new year, this time taking our son with us. I am sure he'll love it us much as us.

However, that being said, that is OUR experience, and everyone is different. Just like we see the threads comparing one water park to another or this park to that park, or this restaurant to that restaurant.

Sorry to hear you had a bad holiday, my friend was the same, she didn't like it, and didn't seem to like it that WE liked it lol!

I went in march this year and was expecting it to be grubby as that is what I'd heard from a lot of people on here, but I didn't see any cigarette butts or graffiti. The smoking was annoying but I didn't see many people smoking and no one queue jumped or pushed and the people at the hotel lobby were really nice and helped me whenever I had a problem. I didn't go in the school holidays though, maybe that's why. I thought some of the cast members were really nice, the ones in the tower of terror went out of their way to make it a memorable experience. I only came across one rude cast member.
