I feel the same about pin trading in the UK disney stores...it feels "wrong" to trade outside the parks

We always like to buy things in the parks that you can't buy anywhere else, so it will be a shame if you can just order stuff online.

Thanks for posting the info. I got very excited as it's Luke's birthday in June and we are sure he would LOVE a monorail. However the shipping on the monorail and the Contemporary Resort together were $64 and that puts the price way above what we would normally pay.

We did not see them for sale when we were at WDW at Easter. And the UK Disney Store doesn't have them.

That's a disappointment for you. What a shame.

Had a look and found an item I fancied at $14.95 but it was costing $49.95 postage.

That's ridiculous - unless what you wanted was very heavy, I suppose. The postage for the monorail and Contemporary Resort was $64.

Oh same here As our trip is still a surprise I was going to order autograph books but shipping was silly £

Never mind I do think it is part of the holiday buying bits there and don't think there will be many peeps willing to pay the prices.

He he only 15 sleeps to go

The monorail set was temporarily withdrawn from sale whilst we were there in August, they all dissappeared off the shelves overnight (no they didn't sell out, it was a deliberate removal). Don't know why, we couldn't get answers out of any CMs, but it was.

Glad to see it back though it looks like its a push set now from the picture?

MY kids have die cast push monorails (one has the red, one has the orange) and they were quite cheap and appeared to have the right config to work on the sets. Unless the sets have battery propelled trains, I don't see the point!
